triXswitch was designed to give people a chance to work with and experiment with FreeSWITCH. This will hopefully build interest and community support for FreeSWITCH.

The first release of FreeSWITCH came out this week. FreeSWITCH 1.0 has lots of new feature and bug fixes. Congratulation to the FreeSWITCH project.

triXswitch 0.3 will be released soon. There will not be a GUI in this release. The main use of this iso will be getting a FreeSWITCH system up and running quickly. We are working hard on a new GUI but we have very limited resources so development is moving along slowly.

Just like the glory days of Asterisk@Home, triXswitch is the grassroots movement to bring FreeSwitch into the minds and machines of more users. triXswitch is a complete ISO image that will get FreeSWITCH installed with a prototype GUI interface.
